EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO KAUNAS

On the 6th of March, the students of class 10a, together with their teachers of English and Art, travelled to Kaunas by train to go on a special journey through the world of art and architecture.
The first stop was the Amsterdam School Museum. There we got acquainted with the Amsterdam School architectural style and learned how people lived during the period of the First Lithuanian Republic.
Next, we visited the National M. K. Čiurlionis Art Museum, where we participated in two immersive educational experiences: “Symbolic Collage” and the VR film “Creation of Worlds”. We familiarised ourselves with the works of Lithuania’s most famous artist and composer M. K. Čiurlionis and unleashed our creativity by making collages.
This trip was a wonderful opportunity for the students of 10a to experience the art and architecture of Kaunas.
